Eventually, I returned to full time teaching and taught middle school math and science. After two year of full time teaching, I became the principal. I love watching sports and hanging out with my family and friends. My favorite people are my three children!

I started working at the school in 2020 when all four of my boys enrolled full-time. Outside of school I enjoy traveling with my family near and far, thrifting for unique treasures, and nurturing my deep Catholic faith.

I graduated from WGU in 2024 and immediately started at St. Joe's. In my spare time you'll find me on a football or soccer field, hiking with my family, or out in our garden growing vegetables. I have two children and two dogs and love being in nature with my family.
Susan Jendryka, 2nd Grade Teacher 2nd Grade & K-2nd Music [email protected] I am Susan Jendryka and I am currently teaching 2nd grade at St. Joseph School. I began teaching in 1993 and started at St. Joseph School in 1996, as a kindergarten teacher. I have also taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and music. I am married to Brian and we are the parents of two young adults, Stephen and Kristin. I enjoy reading, gardening, and hanging out with my cats.

I have been teaching since 2015, all at St. Joe's. I have taught 1st grade, kindergarten, and now 3rd grade. Outside of school I like to watch TV, craft, and go on adventures with family and friends. My husband and I welcomed our first daughter in March 2025 and I can't wait for her to be an Eagle!

I have been teaching since 1983. I began my career here at St. Joe's as the 4th grade teacher and I plan to retire from here. Talk about going full circle. My interests are my cats, cows, flower beds, and laying in the sun reading books.
Stacie Bowen, 5th Grade Teacher 5th Grade, 7th Grade Washington State History, & 3rd-5th P.E. [email protected] My name is Stacie Bowen. I have been teaching 5th grade at St. Joe's since 2016. Personally, my 5th grade year was rough, so my goal every year is to not only teach academics, but also to boost student confidence. God has given us a beautiful life and I want to make sure that my students see that every day. I see the connection with families to be an important part of the team we build for our student community. When I'm not at school, I'm usually home chasing chickens or canning homemade goodies. I'm also a proud grandma to six grandsons and two "borrowed" granddaughters. Life is good!
Eileen Selleck, Middle School Teacher 6th/8th Social Studies, 6th-8th ELA & Music [email protected] My name is Eileen Selleck, Mrs. Selleck to my students. I have worked in education since 2008, first as a paraeducator in Rochester. I graduated from St. Martin's University in 2014 and went on to teach 6th grade in Tumwater from 2015-2022. I have been at St. Joseph School since 2022 and the transition to private school has been the best professional decision of my life. Here I teach middle school ELA, Ancient World History, and American History. Mr. Selleck and I have been together for over 30 years. We have two adult daughters and four grandchildren. We live on a beautiful piece of property with lots of trees and wildlife. In my free time I enjoy reading, singing, quilting, riding my quad, wandering my woods, and hanging out with my loved ones.
Keith Frasier, Middle School Teacher 6th-8th Math, Science, & P.E. [email protected] My name is Keith Frasier, I teach middle school math and science at St. Joseph School. I started teaching in 2000. I have taught at two other schools and one community college before coming to St. Joe's. I have been at St. Joe's since 2016. I have taught at least something in every level from kindergarten through 8th grade. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, camping, and being outside. My wife and I have two teenage daughters.
Brenda Pulido, Religion Teacher 2nd-3rd/5th-8th Religion [email protected] My name is Brenda Pulido, I am the 2nd-3rd and 5th-8th grade religion. I also teach religion to 2nd and 3rd grade. I have been teaching at St. Joe's since 2023. I am originally from the beautiful state of Jalisco, Mexico where my family and I like to go every 1-2 years. I grew up here in Lewis County and got my bachelor's degree at WSU Vancouver. Outside of school I love spending family time and enjoy having gatherings with my family and friends as we love to karaoke and barbecue. I also like to volunteer at my home parish St. Joseph Church. Going to watch my children play school sports has been a new experience but I love it.
Sue Hanshaw, Art Teacher 6th-8th Art [email protected] Hello, my name is Sue Hanshaw. I am so excited to be teaching MS 6th-8th grade Art this 2025/2026 school year. I retired from St. Joe's 2 years ago, after teaching there for 20 years. I taught K/1, 2nd, MS Drama and Art during my previous years at St. Joe's. I'm excited to get back itno my favorite subject, ART! I have a Bachelor's degree (K-8) in education from WSU and a Masters (Teaching Art Throughout the Curriculum) K-8 from Lesley University. Allison DeCofano- Wee Kids After Preschool Care (11:15AM-3:00PM) [email protected] My name is Allison DeCofano but in the halls of St. Joseph's I'm known as Miss Allison. After taking a circuitous route I realized my childhood dream of becoming a teacher thirty-three years ago. For the past thirty years I have taught math and science to middle schoolers in two Catholic schools and a performing arts school. To say my career has been blessed would be an understatement. I retired from full time teaching in the summer of 2024 and followed my daughter, her husband, and my granddaughter to Washington from Oregon. I love living here and of course living by my granddaughter is the frosting on the cake. When I'm not hanging out with my granddaughter, I have dusted off my sewing machine and gotten back into quilting and making clothes and costumes. I also love to crochet, read, and garden. I feel so fortunate to be a member of St. Joseph School and Parish. Once again God has led me to the perfect place at the perfect time.

I took some time off after I had my daughter, Quintyn, and returned to St. Joe's in 2023. I am the After School Care Director, a substitute teacher, and Title 1 Teacher through Chehalis School District. My daughter and I love adventures and experiencing what the PNW has to offer in our free time.
Destinee Little- Custodian [email protected] My name is Destinee. 2024 was my first year at St. Joe's, and I look forward to many more. I am from the small town of Brooklyn, WA and moved to Lewis County in 2023. I LOVE my job and the wonderful community of staff, students, and parents here at St. Joe's. When I'm not cleaning the school, I enjoy going for long walks, baking sourdough bread, and tending to my many plants.
